Let’s talk books

Truth be told I have never been a “reader.” I only really started enjoying it in late 2017. My problem was that I never could find ones that intrigued me and that I could connect with, or that I wanted to spend my time on. I have never enjoyed reading for as long as I can remember. TEB cringes at the thought of me never wanting to read Harry Potter. Um, no thank you, no time for that. One of my goals for 2018 was to read one book each month. I am happy to report, smooth sailing so far.
I like books that are going to help me be a better person. Ones that will help me be a better wife, friend, daughter, and leader. Positive daily input matters so so much.
Gift guide: stocking stuffers

Ok, stocking stuffers might be my favorite thing to open on Christmas morning! Let’s face it, most people hate buying stocking stuffers and usually just grab crap last minute! I think they are super fun. You have the opportunity to put some really great things in someones stocking! Here are some of my favs! I have everything on this list and love them all!
Gift guide: Sarah’s picks

We all know that it is better to give than to receive, but who doesn’t love receiving a dang good gift?! That’s right, we ALL love to give and receive a good gift.
I will be putting together a few gift guides, but for now here are my top picks!
Pro tip: throughout the year if I see something I want but don’t want to buy for myself or someone else immediately, I add it to the notes section of my iPhone to refer back to later.
Blender brownies

Every chocoholic needs a no-fail healthier brownie recipe! This recipe was created because I had tried so many and they were either too this or too that, and honestly weren’t quite up to my standards.
These are perfect IMO. You better believe they are every chocolate lovers dream. They have been tested multiple times and are amazing. So, have at it sister! Oh, and these would be a perfect dessert to make for Thanksgiving or other holiday gatherings. If you’re hosting, you are going to need to check this post out. Thank me later!
Plant love

I have a huge place in my heart for all my plants both indoor and outdoor. I enjoy taking care of them and watching them grow and bloom! I love having plants indoor because they brighten up a space, provide an instant mood boost, reduce stress and clean the air! I think I have one in every room of our home now. You can never have too much green IMO.
Favs: September 2018

Each month you can expect a list of things that I am currently loving. Hopefully by sharing these things will help you find something new to listen to or read, and maybe even a new recipe! Speaking of recipes, did you see my fav brussel sprout dish?!
