There you are, its 2:30 in the afternoon, you are borderline hangry about to walk into your next meeting waving the white flag because you need something to eat stat. You honestly don’t care what it is because, well, it’s an emergency. But, thank goodness, you’ve got a stash of emergency snacks in your desk drawer to reach for!

Being prepared is key. I love the saying fail to plan, plan to fail! We don’t wing it over here, y’all. We are prepared! So, I’ve put together this list of emergency snacks to keep on hand, in your purse, car, desk, carry on, etc.

Summer time is here which means you might be ready to mix up your smoothie game! I know I sure am! This strawberry maca smoothie is light and refreshing! Plus, when strawberries are in season, how can you resist?!

With the recent news that I am allergic to cacao, vanilla, almond butter, and bananas, I’ve had to get creative with my smoothies!

Toasted Coconut Granola

Hello and happy Monday! I hope you had a nice, refreshing weekend! We always do some batch cooking on Sunday as well as prepare TEB’s lunches for the week! So, yesterday, I made this yummy toasted coconut granola to have on hand for various things this week!

A lot of granolas at the grocery store tend to have lots of added junk in them, and are often $12-15. There are a couple of brands I trust, but 9 times out of 10, I’d rather make my own if I can!

How is it already Friday?! I feel like it was just Monday! Nevertheless, cheers to the weekend! I hope you are enjoying the what we’re eating series! Most of the meals I make are super quick and require minimal ingredients.

Happy Friday! It’s going to be a gloomy+rainy weekend over here! I am not mad about it though, my garden needs it! ICYMI-I explain how I shop and plan out our meals for the week on this post. Monday seems a lot less stressful when you have a productive Sunday, right?! My answer is YES! I find that having a productive Sunday sets my week up for success! It basically gets my game plan for the week going on a strong foot! So, here is my go-to list of 10 productive things to do on a Sunday!

I’m certainly no chef, but knowing that I can prepare a healthy meal that will nourish our bodies is priceless. You can learn just about anything these days. If you don’t know how to cook, just try.

Back in October I read about half of High Performance Habits. It got a little heavy, and it was best I come back to it another time. That time is now! I picked up where I left off and timing for me is much better! It is a great book and I am learning new habits to help propel my business and life.
