5 Ways To Step-up Your Wellbeing This Spring

Spring time always brings a sense of refresh and renew over here! Lots of new energy coming out of winter. The flowers are blooming, sun is shining and we are living our best lives with the longer days!

A lot of times we are conditioned to think we need to “spring clean” every area of our lives or make drastic changes when this time of the year rolls around. We actually are better served when we make small changes that can become a lifestyle of healthier habits. I am a big believer in making small, actionable shifts in our daily activities to create habits that will last a lifetime!

A pep talk: because being healthy+living your best life shouldn’t be overwhelming.

Truth be told, I am quite complicated, we all are. We all have our own issues, problems, fears, stressors, anxieties, etc. I could go on and on. But, I’m here to tell you—the simpler you can make things that you CAN control, the better off you (plus everyone around you) will be.

We put so much pressure on ourselves every single day. So, let’s pump the breaks for a sec.

There is beauty in simplicity and calm is a superpower, I promise. Give yourself some margin, but still get after it.

You are doing just fine. If you can make one, yes, one simple change a day or even a month that will impact your health+wellbeing for the better, and that’s AWESOME. Don’t get down on yourself!

Morning Routine

Either you run the day or the day runs you.

There are a couple of things that are non-negotiable for me, sleep and routine. They set you up for success and set the tone for all areas of life. Every single morning looks almost identical for me.

My morning routine actually starts the night before, and I am not even going to tell you it is easy…but no phone for at least 30 minutes before lights out.  We are all guilty of mindless scrolling, and it’s the biggest time waster ever. I follow this into my morning. I want to be a dictator of my time, not a reactor. Plus, I want to make the most of my time and be as productive as possible.

Glowing Skin is always in

This may seem pretty basic stuff, but all of it combined together is what does the trick for me! I have always taken really good care of my skin, and will continue to. You can find me always wearing hat+sunscreen+sunglasses. I think taking care of your skin should come pretty natural, but some people just don’t get in the habit of taking care of themselves, it’s never too late to start!
This is what I do to keep my skin glowing:
