What we’re eating: March 7-13

What we're eating

Woohoo, we are springing forward this week with the time! Super excited, obviously! That means more sunshine, so yay!

Mixing things up a bit this week with an easy, yummy, and always healthy plan over here!

If you are new around here, our rule is always cook once, eat twice to minimize time spent cooking! It makes planning so much easier and minimizes food waste.

What we're eating

We’ve made it to March, y’all! Which means its *almost* spring time! Hallelujah. Yes, we are totally counting down to warmer weather, sunshine, and it staying day light longer! Oh, and grilling season! So much to look forward to!

What we're eating: Feb 22-28

Happy weekend, friends! Trying something new over here! I’ve wanted a dutch oven for a really long time, and I finally grabbed one the other day when it was staring me in the face–beautiful black cast iron with a gold knob. I made our chili in it last week which was wonderful and today the new thing I tried–a whole chicken! Whoa. Where have I been, that is the best chicken I’ve had in a really long time, so tender and tasty.

Don’t worry, I’m not going to leave you hanging–I’ll post the recipe here soon!

What we’re eating: February 15-21

So we are in that in between weather stage where one week its 69 degrees and later in the week it is 30 degrees and there’s snow on the ground. So, this week we are going with it and having some chili since it is still kind of chili season! Might as well, right?!

We are back with the what we’re eating series after lots of recent travel! Sometimes getting back in the groove after travel can be tough. Luckily with a plan, you can tackle almost anything!

Honestly, so glad to be home the rest of the month and back in routine!

Favs: January 2020

Ok, I took it up a notch this month and knocked out 3 books by 01/23. They were all different and I loved all of them!

The Automatic Millionaire

Everyone needs to read this book. I read it in 2 days and could not put it down. Tim read it right after me and he was the same way! If you are addicted to saving or want to save, this book will give you the exact tools and practice ways to make it happen!

Have More Fun

This was a super fun book and so different to what I am typically reading! It was a good one to start the year off with! Also read this one in two days. It’s a light read.

Women of the Word

Whoa. To say I needed this book is a big understatement. I NEEDED IT. It taught me how to approach time in the Word. Which is still a work in progress. This year I want to better know and study God’s word that way I can understand, retain, apply it!

What we’re eating: January 18-21

It’s a short and sweet week over here and it’s officially my birthday week. We are headed out of town to celebrate in sunny South Florida! One of our very favorite places to escape to! This week it’s all about quick and easy because I will be wrapping some client sessions up and packing will be of upmost importance!

What we’re eating: January 11-17

What' we're eating January 11-17

It’s a new week, so here’s your fresh new meal ideas! We are trying something new for the first time so I will have to report back! We’ve been experimenting cooking with lentils. TEB had a lentil soup I made for him last week and this week we are going to try them seasoned in tacos!

So many of you have messaged and said you are also loving Wal-Mart grocery delivery! Woohoo! Cheers to maximizing your time!

Favs: Nov + Dec 2019

READING

In November I read The 10X Rule by Grant Cardone, it came highly recommended by TEB. I did indeed like it!

Takeaway:

In order to get to the next level of whatever you’re doing, you must think and act in a wildly different way that you previously have been. You cannot get to the next phase of a project without a grander mind-set, more acceleration, and extra horsepower. Your thoughts and actions are the reasons you are where you are right now.

The goals you set should always move you to a better place-or toward and objective you’ve not yet achieved.

Happy New Year, y’all! Coming at you with some fresh ideas for meals this week! Hopefully this will get you geared up to head to the grocery or place that grocery order! I rave about grocery delivery a lot over here. For $98 A YEAR or $2.04 A WEEK I can have someone deliver my groceries and save time and money. SIGN ME UP BABY.

We’ve officially been doing Wal-Mart delivery for 3 months, and lemme tell you, it is one of the BEST ways to maximize your time. Plus, they have tons of organic options, so I get everything we need. (we also go to costco at least once a month)
