Coming at you with some new ideas for easy meals! This week what we’re eating looks a little different with a new take on chicken enchiladas! We have also been obsessed with peaches from the peach truck (the best in my opinion) and watermelon. We have been knocking one watermelon out in just a couple of days. They are so good for you!
There you are, its 2:30 in the afternoon, you are borderline hangry about to walk into your next meeting waving the white flag because you need something to eat stat. You honestly don’t care what it is because, well, it’s an emergency. But, thank goodness, you’ve got a stash of emergency snacks in your desk drawer to reach for!
Being prepared is key. I love the saying fail to plan, plan to fail! We don’t wing it over here, y’all. We are prepared! So, I’ve put together this list of emergency snacks to keep on hand, in your purse, car, desk, carry on, etc.
Back to basics over here for what we’re eating this week! I needed the guess work taken out of the grocery list this week since I used Instacart! The only thing I hate about using it is that sometimes they are out of items and I have to go back a few days later. I guess that could happen if I went on my own too. I will say, my shoppers always call with questions, and are awesome about picking produce exactly like I instructed them in the notes! So, let’s get to this weeks basics over here!
Summer time is here which means you might be ready to mix up your smoothie game! I know I sure am! This strawberry maca smoothie is light and refreshing! Plus, when strawberries are in season, how can you resist?!
With the recent news that I am allergic to cacao, vanilla, almond butter, and bananas, I’ve had to get creative with my smoothies!
Y’all, I was getting a little bored with my dinner ideas, so I really stepped outside of my comfort zone for what we’re eating this week! So, fresh food ideas coming at you! Still keeping things super simple with minimal ingredients!
If you didn’t already know, I love grabbing what I can at our local Aldi! They have a good selection of organic produce at amazing prices! I frequently do Aldi hauls over on my insta stories! Just yesterday I shared my huge organic haul that only totaled $65! I do still have to make a stop at Kroger, and we order our meat from Buy Ranch Direct. But, all in all, if you are looking to save some money on your grocery bill, shopping at Aldi is a phenomenal way to do so! Oh, and I put together a list of my favs from Aldi a while back that you can check out here!
Hello and happy Monday! I hope you had a nice, refreshing weekend! We always do some batch cooking on Sunday as well as prepare TEB’s lunches for the week! So, yesterday, I made this yummy toasted coconut granola to have on hand for various things this week!
A lot of granolas at the grocery store tend to have lots of added junk in them, and are often $12-15. There are a couple of brands I trust, but 9 times out of 10, I’d rather make my own if I can!
I am so happy you’ve stopped by!
I am here to fill your soul with some good vibes, health+wellness, damn good recipes, (duh, I got you girl, no one’s got time for a bad recipe) some safe beauty talk, inspiration, and all things beautiful. It’s likely you might not agree with some of the things I talk about, like, or discuss, and that is quite alright. We are allowed to have different opinions/views/beliefs and still respect each other. Remember, good vibes only.
I am a true believer that simple is beautiful and (healthy) chocolate cures a lot of things. I also believe in making yourself your number one priority, because if you don’t show up for yourself, you can’t show up for others. Nourishing and caring for your body is the key act of self love. So, do things that make you feel amazing, don’t get all caught up in the small stuff. Make a conscious effort do be better and do better every day. It’s about progress, not perfection.
