READING

Ok, I took it up a notch this month and knocked out 3 books by 01/23. They were all different and I loved all of them!

The Automatic Millionaire

Everyone needs to read this book. I read it in 2 days and could not put it down. Tim read it right after me and he was the same way! If you are addicted to saving or want to save, this book will give you the exact tools and practice ways to make it happen!

Have More Fun

This was a super fun book and so different to what I am typically reading! It was a good one to start the year off with! Also read this one in two days. It’s a light read.

Women of the Word

Whoa. To say I needed this book is a big understatement. I NEEDED IT. It taught me how to approach time in the Word. Which is still a work in progress. This year I want to better know and study God’s word that way I can understand, retain, apply it!

LISTENING

Craig Groeschel Leadership Podcast: Atomic Habits with James Clear. Last month I shared the Atomic Habits book under the reading category. IMO this podcast is a glimpse inside the book with some great takeaways even after reading the book!

FOLLOWING

The Money Honey, who is a CT based financial pro who helps you get your act together while also promoting financial wellness. She has a no-bs approach to your finances that I really appreciate! She shares lots of tips and tricks in her stories! Oh, and she’s funny so that’s a plus!

STYLE

Putting this under style since you’ve got to style that mane, right?! My hair stylist is always testing safer products and gave me this Oway thermal heat protector and I must say I am loving it! You know when you first wash your hair and it feels like SUPER soft?! Well, this gives it a little texture so it’s not silky smooth and I love that about it! Plus, when you’re using hot tools on your hair it’s perfect to protect it from damage! It smells great and the ingredients are trustworthy too!

It’s made without:

✕ Parabens
✕ SLS / SLES
✕ GMOs
✕ Petroleum
✕ Phthalates
✕ Synthetic Fragrance
✕ PEGs, PPGs & BGs
✕ Artificial Colorants

BEAUTY

Ok, this one I’ve been testing for about 8 weeks now and totally should have shared prior to today. It’s a must have for me now! It’s a brightening facial scrub made with sea kelp and french green clay. It is SUPER gritty, I use it 2-3x a week especially the morning after using the resurfacing peel! This isn’t one that you will want to use daily!

KITCHEN

This mug was a gift from my sweet friend, Allie Reeves and I happen to love it so much. I use it every single morning with my warm lemon water. It’s the perfect mug to start your day with!

What we’re eating: March 14-20

Hello there! Happy weekend to you! As always, you’ve come to the right place if you need some fresh and easy meal ideas!

I can see you now, you might be all gloom and doom because your store if out of TP. I get it. At least you can (hopefully) grab some food to have on hand and get through this!

Still having a hate relationship with my Instant Pot because it’s not making things so instant. Most things I try end up needing more time. So, there’s that. Gonna give it another go next week.
