What we’re eating: November 2-8

Happy November 1st! It actually already feels like winter over here! We get like 1/2 a day of fall in Kentucky haha.  We’ve really stepped up the game with simple warm foods this week!

Food is such an important thing we do each week. We eat 3 meals a day, so that is 21 chances a week to have foods that serve and nourish our bodies! Making smart choices and being prepared are two things that go hand in hand!

If you are over there saying you don’t have time…hear me when I say, I get it. I too, am very cautious about what I commit to and spend time on! But when it comes to your health, you can’t really afford not to make this a priority! Can you?!

I am traveling most of next week, so I will make sure everything is prepared before I leave on Tuesday that way TEB will only have to reheat! I swear, this is one reason he unloads the dishwasher and folds our laundry. (two of my least fav things to do)

P.S. Still loving grocery delivery. It’s such a gift when you don’t have extra time to set aside to hit up the grocery! I still love the occasional grocery run, but in this season, delivery it is! Remember, we are all about maximizing over here!

The plan this week…

Saturday

With TEB’s mom!

Sunday

White chicken chili (recipe coming soon)

Monday

BLT cobb salad with chicken too!

Tuesday

Turkey baked ziti with veggies (no cheese)

Wednesday

Leftover white chicken chili

Thursday

Leftover turkey baked ziti

Friday

Leftover white chicken chili

Pro tip, soup: this is a dish that is really easy to make healthy, and SO quick. Most soups freeze well too! So plan to make a big batch and freeze for a meal later!
