The moment TEB said these were the best chocolate cookies he’d ever had, I knew this recipe was a winner. After testing several times, I certainly have to agree!
They are made with simple ingredients, and fool proof. Plus, who doesn’t need another chocolate recipe on hand?! They are grain free, dairy free, basically all the things free and such a nice treat!
- 1/2 c almond flour
- 2 tbsp flax meal
- 2 tbsp raw cacao powder
- 1/4 c dairy free chocolate chips
- 2 tbsp coconut sugar
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- pinch of salt
- 3 tbsp almond butter or any nut butter
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 1–2 tbsp nut milk
- Bake on 350 degrees for 14-16 min. Makes 8 large or 12 small cookies
P.S. 16 min is my sweet spot–a little crunchy, but still soft!
